1. Delete your account from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is inside the VagharBox Android app:
- Open the VagharBox app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete Account (below Logout).
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
Your sign-in account is deleted immediately and your locally saved data is cleared from the device.
2. Delete by request (without the app)
If you no longer have the app installed, or you use VagharBox from the website, you can request deletion:
- Email vagharbox@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the email address linked to your account, or
- Message us on WhatsApp at +91 92744 41604 from the phone number linked to your orders.
We verify the request belongs to you and complete the deletion within 7 working days, with a confirmation reply.
3. What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account (Google-linked login).
- Profile details: name, email address and profile photo reference.
- Saved delivery addresses and app preferences.
4. What is kept, and why
Records of completed orders (order id, items, amounts and delivery details) are retained for up to 90 days after deletion for billing, refunds, tax and legal compliance, after which they are removed or anonymised. Payment processing records are held by our payment partner (Razorpay) under their own retention rules.
